1. Forum. International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, publishes empirical articles in English, Spanish and Portuguese that follow a determined methodology and contribute to the advancement of any area of ​​the social sciences and humanities. Documentary and review articles, written reflections and essays, written with an academic focus that analyze critical aspects and propose new research problems or hypotheses, will also be accepted for publication in an interdisciplinary framework.

2. All works must be unpublished, that is, they must not be published or under review in other journals, partially or totally. It is considered that all the authors that appear in the article have given their consent to the publication, and all are responsible for its contents.

3. All papers must be submitted in Word format, with a maximum length of 5,000 words if they are empirical, or up to 6500 words if they are review articles or academic essays. Within the limit of the number of words includes the whole article (title, abstract, references, figures, tables, appendices and illustrations). They will be written in space and a half, with margins of one inch and continuous numbering in the upper right.

4. The proposals should be written in space and a half, with margins of 2.54 cm, Times New Roman 12 and continuous numbering in the upper right. The official template for each type of article should be followed, which can be downloaded below. In addition, a letter must be enclosed where the authenticity is certified, and the copyright is ceded.

5. On the first page the title will be centered, with times New Roman 18, in the language of the article, and then translated into a different language: Spanish or English.

6. With the purpose of ensuring anonymity, two versions of the article must be uploaded to the platform of the journal: one without the names of the authors and their places of work and correspondence addresses, and another full version. The article should not have elements that can identify the authors. Each version must have the following file name:

7.The second sheet shall include an abstract, in English or Spanish, according to the original language, not exceeding 200 words. The abstract should be structured in the following sections: Problem, Method, Results and Conclusions.

8.The parts of the article must conform to the APA standards sixth edition in English. The structure of each type of article is described below.

9. Figures and tables will be included within the article with excellent resolution and should be listed sequentially. In addition to being listed normally it is suggested to introduce them in the text with phrases like: "Next, in Table 1, is shown ...". The figures must be legible and of excellent resolution (minimum 300 dpi). The signs and acronyms must be legible and explained by notes.

—The figures must be legible and of excellent resolution (minimum 300 dpi). The signs and acronyms must be legible too.

—A legend is placed, and it explains the symbols used in the figure. It should offer a concise explanation of this. Legends also serve as a title, so the figure itself should not include a title.

10. Review of editorial committee. Articles submitted to the journal will first be reviewed by the Editorial Committee and the Journal's Management in order to determine if they agree with the publication lines, follow the APA sixth edition in English, have the structure suggested by the journal and pass anti-plagiarism control.

11. All articles will be reviewed anonymously and double-blinded by two area researchers. Authors should suggest three possible reviewers that they consider suitable for evaluating their work, clearly indicating the workplace and e-mail. They may also suggest that some reviewers are not considered and explain why.

12. Citation according to APA sixth edition:

—Citation in the text:
+All the citations must go with last name and year, separated by a comma. When they are textual quotations, the page number is added.
+Surname and author in parentheses: The knowledge society represents a change from the industrial society for the development of knowledge management (Muñiz, 2018).
+The author is part of the narrative: Shütz (2018) states that ...
+Textual quotation: According to Hernandez-Amoros, and Urrea-Solano (2017), "Overcoming the dichotomy between the cognitive and the emotional has shown the potential influence of emotions on education”. (p.512)

Citation of many authors:
+One or two authors: they are always cited throughout the text.
+More than two and less than six authors: all are mentioned the first time and in the following quote only the last name of the first one is placed followed of "et al." and the year, unless there is another surname equal and of the same year, in which case the complete quote will be made.
+More than six authors: the first is cited followed by "et al." and in case of confusion the subsequent authors are added until they are well identified.
+When citing different authors within the same parentheses, they are sorted alphabetically.
+To cite works by the same author or authors, of the same date, the letters a, b, c are added every year, as far as necessary, repeating the year.

 

Bibliographic references:
+At the end of the article are placed all references cited and only these. No references not cited or recommended bibliography or "other sources of consultation" should be added.

+All bibliographical references should be arranged alphabetically and should be drafted with hanging indentation. The references must have the doi placed at the end.

+If an article doesn’t have doi the web page (URL) should be placed. It must be abbreviated in the Google tool: http://goo.gl

13. All authors accept, when submitting an article to the journal, that the rights to print and reproduction in any format and medium are from The Knowledge Society and Quality of Life (KSQL) journal. Authors may share the file on their web pages and in their academic communities, as long as the source is respected and the Journal is cited.

14. The contents and originality of the articles are the responsibility of the authors. The journal focuses on verifying the relevance of the article and its quality through the review of peer researchers of the area. Authors must pass the article through a plagiarism control system before submitting it to the journal. Only 10% -15% of duplicate contents will be accepted. In certain cases, only less than 5% of duplicate content will be accepted, according to the Editorial Committee's analysis. All reports of plagiarism should be with respect to the authors. Forum. International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities assumes no responsibility for plagiarism of an article, but will do the respective controls. Authors should be able to send reviewers all the raw information required to verify the analyzes.

15. Empirical studies must comply with ethical standards that relate to the area, as well as professional ethics. Any problems about this must be borne directly by the authors. The methodology of the empirical articles should explain the follow-up of the ethical norms that are related to the area.

16. All articles must be sent through the website of the journal. No items are accepted by mail. The articles should be uploaded to the authors section, in the Submit article for review The revision of an article by the Editorial Committee lasts between one and four weeks. Peer review evaluators have an average duration of two to eight weeks. The publication of an accepted article is done in an average of two to six months.
